A
longtime resident of New York City’s West Village, David Pasquel is
becoming recognized as one of the City’s most avant-garde up-and-coming
new artists. Born in Ohio, Pasquel, along with 4 siblings, was raised
in the small farming community of Germantown. After completing high
school, he entered the University of Notre Dame and was graduated in
1984 with A Bachelors of Science in Electrical Engineering. For the
next 15 years, Pasquel's professional life focused on technology
development and executive management responsibilities in the United
States wireless telecommunications industry.
After
much thought, Pasquel resurrected his passion for painting, redirected
his career objectives and embarked on the intrepid, sometimes uncertain
yet personally fulfilling pursuits in the fine arts. This self-taught
painter began to express his view of and experiences in the world his
way. The pieces illustrated on this site are a collection of those
perspectives.
